Letterpress poster, cards, and tchotchkeys to promote Hollow Earth Radio's series of 8 radio documentaries about the independent music legacy of the Pacific Northwest, I crafted this entirely handmade package hand-carved tipography & illustrations letter-pressed by hand. It appealed right down to its audience: the folks doing house shows and producing DIY home recorded material, all of it happening within basements, spread along the puget sound corridor, and passed around by word of mouth in a totally underground scene. I was provided creative and art direction, graphic design, printing, illustration, hand-carving, and hand-assembly. This project is handmade and sustainable: pressed on 100% cotton paper (treeless) on two antique manual iron presses with vegetable oil ink.
